Cyborg moth biobots? New video shows how to make complex #science exciting and accessible #scicomm

Check out this amazing video that summarizes experiments from a recent JOVE article titled, “Early Metamorphic Insertion Technology for Insect Flight Behavior Monitoring.” JOVE is the Journal of Visualized Experiments and the authors are Alexander Verderber, Michael McKnight, Alper Bozkurt from North Carolina State University. The video does an awesome job communicating complex science on a more-or-less basic level! Phys.org has a equally great summary article that describes the work as, “research paves way for development of cyborg moth ‘biobots.” Definitely a great example of making science exciting and accessible.

A short summary of our JOVE article “Early Metamorphic Insertion Technology for Insect Flight Behavior Monitoring”.
